How to identify genuine leather bracelets from synthetic leather bracelets ?

Sometimes when you buy a beautiful leather bracelet, you want to know what kind of material it is. The following ideas you may want to know:

  • Ignition: Tear a little fiber from the back of real leather and synthetic leather. After ignition, all that emits a hair smell and does not form hard knots is genuine leather. Anything that emits a pungent odor and forms lumps is artificial leather;
  • Touch by hand: When you touch the leather surface with your finger tips, if it feels elastic, smooth and soft, it is genuine leather; otherwise it has poor softness.
  • Seeing: the real leather surface has clearer pores and patterns. The yak leather has thicker and sparser pores, and the goat leather has fish-scale pores.
  • Smell: you pick up the leather bracelet and smell it, all genuine leather has the smell of leather; and synthetic leather has a plastic smell.
