Leathercraft punch and pin buckle

Carbide leathercraft punch can be used to make belt holes, plastic holes, etc. Cemented carbide, also known as tungsten steel, refers to a sintered composite material consisting of at least one metal carbide. Tungsten carbide, cobalt carbide, niobium carbide, titanium carbide, tantalum carbide are common components of tungsten steel.

After the belt is bought, in many cases people will find that the needle on the brass belt buckle doesn’t match the hole originally in the belt, and at this time we will have to use the leathercraft punch.

below is a video showing the pin buckles:

Before punching the belt, measure the waist circumference with a soft ruler. The punching position is 1-2 cm larger than the waist circumference, and make a mark.

Align the hole and punch with the marked place, and punch with a hammer to make a hole.
